EQULS Q1 2025 Product Update: Enhanced Features & Notes
Welcome to the EQULS Q1 2025 product update! We’ve been working hard to improve your experience, and this quarter brings significant enhancements across the app. Consequently, we focused on user experience, social features, performance, and data display in this product update. Here’s a summary of the main changes and their impact.
User Experience Product Updates
Improving how you interact with EQULS is always a priority. Therefore, we implemented several user experience enhancements in this product update:
- New User Onboarding: We introduced a smoother onboarding process. Now, new users see a series of screens explaining key app features. As a result, we expect this update to reduce churn, increase retention, improve conversions, and lower support requests.
- Improved Search: We updated the search function and user interface. This change makes navigating the app and discovering content much easier.
- Feed Tab Swiping: Additionally, we added swipe functionality between feed tabs. This small change greatly enhances interaction and ease of use when browsing different content feeds.
Social Features & Engagement Updates
Building community is core to EQULS. Thus, this product update introduces several new social features:
- Follow Users: You can now follow other users! This feature helps you track activity you care about and should increase user engagement and content discovery.
- Post Comments & Reactions: We implemented comments and reactions on posts. Now, you can view and interact with comments, which helps foster user interaction and community building.
- New Share Feature: Furthermore, we added a new share feature. This allows you to easily share content from the app, potentially increasing user acquisition and engagement.
Performance and Technical Product Updates
Behind the scenes, we made important technical improvements in this product update:
- NativeWind Migration: We migrated off NativeWind. This move improves overall app performance and reduces our reliance on external dependencies.
- Amplitude Integration: Additionally, we added Amplitude integration for better analytics. This allows us to perform funnel analysis, cohort analysis, and track user actions in real-time, helping us make data-driven decisions for future product updates.
Content, Data & Profile Enhancements
We also refined how key information appears in this product update:
- Enhanced Pick/Parlay View: We improved the live pick and parlay experiences. Users now see more detailed and up-to-date information on their simulated bets.
- Improved Leaderboards: Leaderboard functionality is now better. Specifically, we improved filtering and how we display user rankings and performance.
- Updated User Profiles: User profiles now include more detailed performance metrics. We also added a public view option, giving users more control over their visibility.
- Delete Account Feature: Finally, we added a delete account feature. This gives users more control over their data and ensures compliance with app store requirements.
These Q1 product updates aim to significantly enhance user engagement, improve app functionality, and provide a more personalized experience. Ultimately, these changes should lead to increased user retention, higher engagement rates, and potentially attract new users through these improved features.
